The school celebrated the 75th INDEPENDENCE DAY. In the wake of the lockdown to prevent COVID-19 pandemic from community spread, the celebration of this event was held differently by keeping all the safety & social distance norms.

A day of innocence, playfulness and freedom was celebrated on 14th November 2019, the birthday of the “man who loved children and rose flowers’. Celebrations began with a prayer service conducted by teachers. Cultural programmes were put up by the teachers for the students which added colours to the day. Fun-filled games were organized for the students.
The Vachan prerana diwas was celebrated on October 15, the occasion of former president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam's birth anniversary. The day began with a special assembly which highlighted the importance of reading. Later the children visited the School Library and read the books. The students displayed different quotes of Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam.
With an aim to rekindle the love for India’s official language among students, the school celebrated 'Hindi Diwas' on September 14, 2019. Students displayed information about various Hindi Poets and Authors. The students conducted a meaningful assembly and made a presentation of amazing facts regarding the language. Hindi poem writing competition was held on the same day.
The school celebrated the 73rd INDEPENDENCE DAY, with great fervour and enthusiasm. It was an extreme pleasure and honour to have Mrs.Chhaya Shah, the President of Lion’s Club, as the chief guest on this occasion. We saluted our mother land by hoisting the tri colour flag. The inter-house competitions like, Patriotic songs, dances and mime filled everyone’s heart with patriotism.
The literary club teachers and students took the initiative to celebrate the Guru Purnima in the school. It was celebrated with great reverence and devotion at Don Bosco School on 16thJuly. A meaningful assembly was conducted by the students which emphasised the importance of Guru in their life. The students appreciated all the teachers and gave them floral tribute.
To commemorate Kargil Victory Day on 26th July, students of Don Bosco School conducted a special assembly to pay their heartfelt homage to their martyrs of Indian Army who sacrificed their lives and won the war at Kargil. It was done with the view to salute the real heroes of the nation and inspire the students for patriotic cause. The Students also participated in poster making Competition. It portrayed their feelings of patriotism for their mother land.
The Arts club of school took initiative for the celebration of Rakshabandhan. Captain Rupesh Rai, the ex-student of our school was invited and felicitated on this day. The students and teachers made beautiful Rakhis in various shades using different eco-friendly materials. The Rakhis along with beautiful messages of gratitude and appreciations were handed over to Captain Rupesh Rai for our Indian soldiers. It was an inspiring and motivating movement.
The school has always been taking initiatives to get the best talent in the sports arena. We have consolidated the sports activity trainings daily, where the school has tied up with professional coaches for, Chess, Carom and Skating to coach our children. The sports program helps us in identifying talent in particular sports. Our students participated in the zonal, taluka, district, state and national level. The Annual Sports Events were held in our school from 19th to 21st Dec.
